Richard Richter
Wrecker Manager
Richard is a respected member of the Milstead Automotive Team and is highly regarded for his knowledgeable background and love of the business. A native Texan born and raised in Gonzales, TX Richard started his career in towing and recovery at the age of 15 alongside his father in the family business. In 1990 he joined Milstead Automotive as a wreaker driver and by 1993 Richard had worked his way up to management status and then on to his current tile of Wrecker Manager. Richard is certified through USDOT, the Texas Rail Road Commission and Wreck Master and continues to keep updated through annual training and safety seminars provided by T.R.A.A. (Towing and Recovery Association of America) and T.T.S.A. (Texas Towing & Storage Association.)
Martin Middleton
Assistant Wrecker Manager
Martin is a native Texan and started his career with Milstead Automotive in 2004 where he worked his way up through the company beginning as a ranch hand on the Milstead Ranch in Franklin TX, to becoming a service writer for Automotive and then settling in with the wrecker department as the Assistant Manager. As the assistant wrecker manager Martin helps to manage Milstead’s 60 plus wrecker drivers on a daily basis by ensuring that all drivers are properly equipped and adhering to all safety measures mandated by the state of Texas as well as the Texas Towing & Storage Association. Martin is frequently credited for his personable customer service and boyish charm.
